Testimonials
Although we don't actively solicit feedback from our partners or clients regarding their experiences with Southern World, we do on occasion receive some genuine customer feedback. We thought we'd share some of our client's comments, about us, with you.
New Zealand
Many many thanks to you for a tremendous piece of organising - the holiday arrangements were brilliant - it was only the weather that spoilt it. I am sorry you were not there when I popped in - but can you please thank Michael for all the work he did sorting us out along the way. A couple of friends of mine are going to NZ at the end of the year, and I will certainly recommend they contact you if they need any arranging done. Once again thank you for all you have done and to Michael for a great job in your absence; tell your boss from me you both deserve a great big fat pay rise! Despite the weather it was a fabulous holiday.

We’re back from our NZ trip, and a fine one it was! It was colder and rainier than we anticipated, but we survived. You have some wonderful country there and the NZ people are really helpful. We really appreciate your work on our trip. It will be one to remember!

We would like to thank you for the excellent itinerary you gave us. We loved every minute of our holiday. The hotels were super duper and we loved the way you integrated the various kinds of accommodation. For example one of our best experiences was staying with the family in Richmond Nelson. They were just lovely. I can go on and on. Thanks once again for your patience and excellent service.

Our travelers have returned and what a GREAT trip they had! A big thank-you to Leanne for taking such wonderful care of the group and another big thank you to Scott Yoder and the crew from TBI Tours for seamlessly combining all the dozens and dozens of details into this wonderful trip for our customers.

I'm just dropping you a note to thank you for planning out a fantastic trip in New Zealand for us. The route you made out for us was unbelievable, the hotels were the greatest, and the best was that your directions were so easy to follow that even this American, driving on the wrong side of the road, had no trouble negotiating location to location. If there's one thing we learned on this trip is that there is just too much to see in New Zealand and we definitely have to come back to see some of the things we missed. We will definitely use your company again. Thanks for the great time.

Dear Richard, The Organising committee for the 4th international Deaf Bowls Tournament wish to thank Southern World for their outstanding contribution to the success of this event. The decision to ask Southern World to handle accommodation, transport and internal tours was probably the best decision the committee made over the three year period. Not only did we have your firm’s professional expertise managing these important aspects, but we were fortunate to have you as a member of our committee for over 2 ½ years. Your personal contribution was immense and your friendly guidance was much appreciated. We are indebted to you, Richard, to Senior Tour Consultant John Coutts and to other members of Southern World who worked on this joint venture so successfully.

Bula Robin & Mesi, I spoke with trip leaders Kim Webb and Brian Palacios the other day and wanted to share with you their feedback on their trip. In short they had a WONDERFUL time! They thought the rafting company and the rafting itinerary were OUTSTANDING. Malolo Cat worked perfectly. And they were VERY happy with the two houses at Musket Cove. Other than the fact that they had a "girls house" and "guys house", they felt that the accommodations were excellent. They were very pleased that your guide journeyed with them to Tanoa International and stayed with them until check in at the airport. The dinner at Tanoa worked out perfectly! I am happy to say that I have had successful experiences with Southern World in Australia, New Zealand AND Fiji now. And I look forward to working with you on a similar trip for 2005. I will let you know dates as soon as I have them. THANK YOU for everything. Vinaka.

Bula Dan. Your hospitality was wonderful Dan, the whole trip was a blast. The day cruise and the stay at the Fijian was awesome everything you dream about when going to Fiji. The van was so comfortable I had a good sleep going back from Suva to Nadi. I'll definitely come back. Thanks for everything you have done. Vicky

My friend - it was a blast and no worries, we have already decided if our family and friends come over, you will definitely be recommended. Your service was stupendous. The personal touch, especially, ha ha ha ....seriously though, I was personally impressed and blown away by how accommodating you were with our group.

Australia
I feel that the arrangements made by Annabella and Southern World were excellent and with her/their knowledge and connections (service providers) in Australia that they be used again on any future IRT Australian Rail Tours. Any problems were quickly sorted by Annabella.

Hi there! Thank you again very very much for everything! I think it was overall a very successful trip, and we appreciate all of your cooperation in handling all the details. I will forward to you all the comments I get later. I have had a few, and they loved it! More later when all the forms come in! But thank you, thank you for everything.
Eleanor Hardy , Society of International Railway Travellers , April, 2004
Thanks again for the awesome work!!! They are extremely happy, and this has solidified my position as Duke's main travel provider for MBA groups. I have bids out for May 2004 trips to East Asia, Southern Africa, and Central Europe and am likely to get all three. Your performance on this trip is a big factor, as the student decision makers for these other trips are looking to Alyson for feedback on their trip.

Dear Annika, I just spoke to Hanne Højlund, who returned from Sydney yesterday. She thanks a lot for the nice stay in Sydney and the hotel was perfect. The meeting went well and the flowers you have ordered were perfect. She had no comments at all - BUT VERY GOOD. So I want to thank you very much for your kind assistance on this booking. I really do hope to bring other guests as soon as possible. All 4 now.
