I'm originally from Melbourne but I lived many years in New Zealand and Los Angeles before moving back to Australia in 2000. Travel has always been in my blood, with my first trip to the USA when I was three. My wife Sian also works in inbound tourism, so if there's any chance for us to visit new and interesting places, welll do it. I love food, the occasional beer and a good glass of wine, so I counteract that by keeping active with running and a few games of tennis. I ran in the New York Marathon in 2003 and one day hope to do another one , but in the meantime my focus has been more on the birth of our first child, Rhiannon Kate Armour, earlier this year. When not travelling for work or pleasure, I'm happy to be a couch potato and watch my favorite sports (Aussie Rules football, rugby league and rugby union in winter, and cricket in summer) on TV, or go to the games if they're playing in town. I love living in Sydney and think it has the perfect climate all year round if you love the outdoors, which I do.
