Welcome to Asia Pacific Champs 2007

The 2007 Asia Pacific Champs was held in Christchurch New Zealand, 13-21 January 2007 at the Fendalton and Burnside Bowling Clubs.

This event was also a qualifying tournament for the 2008 World Bowls to be held in Christchurch 12-27 January 2008.

Burnside Bowling Club will be the main headquarters for this event. Located 3km from Christchurch International airport and 7km from the central city the Burnside Bowling Club was established in 1963.

The club is located in the 70 acre Burnside park and has 3 immaculate greens and a large clubhouse with restaurant and bar facilities.

Fendalton Bowling Club is located in a corner of Fendalton Park which is on the main road into Christchurch City from the Christchurch International Airport.

Fendalton is in the North West sector of Christchurch City, an area particularly well endowed with trees and gardens.

Handy is the Ilam University and the Fendalton Shopping Mall.

Christchurch is the major centre in the South Island of New Zealand.

Fendalton is the premier suburb of the City.
